The Crane Farm Preserve is on Crane Street with a small parking lot adjacent to the bridge over the Three Mile River. On this side of the river and, you will find a small trail system. On the opposite side of the bridge, there is another plot of forested land protected by the LPS. No trails have been blazed in this area.
Head into the forest and down the hill you will find two trails. One will take you on a loop through a sandy pine forest, and the other on an out-and-back trail along the Three Mile River with a bench. Otters and wood turtles have been seen on and along the edges of the river, in addition to an abundance of frogs.
The two trails are approximately 1 mile of firm ground with no elevation change beyond the hill at the start of the hike.
